Who Is Pan?

Who is this rascal known as Pan
that's half horned beast and half a man?
p
He roams the earth with cloven feet,
preying on the innocent women he meets.
p
He lures them on with his majick sounds,
words sweet as honey to make their heart pound.
p
He captures their mind in his hypnotic spell,
while leading their souls straight into hell.
p
He holds their heart now within his grasp,
demanding they do whatever he asks.
p
No more a virgin these poor little slaves,
held in bondage by the love they gave.
p
Little did they know and to their alarm,
they were not the first to fall for his charms.
p
Is this a demon or a side of man,
this 'God of Lust' that's known as Pan?
